Ivory Hera, the Beta's only daughter, was best friends with Gabriel Clarence, the Alpha's son, they knew each other inside and out. Favorite colors, favorite sports, first broken bone and very first heartbreak. Ivory loved Gabriel, she loved him more than a best friend should, but she didn't think that Gabriel felt the same way, so she hid her feelings.
Their unbreakable bond lasted up until the eighth grade, one day something changed in Gabriel, he became cold and distant. That was the day Ivory and Gabriel lost their wonderful friendship. And Ivory thought that not even the moon goddess herself could fix what was broken.
Then years later, both at the age of 16, found their soul mates! Ivory was so excited, hoping and dreaming that her mate was in a different pack, hoping that he was nice and kind and wonderful to her and everyone else.
Gabriel hoped for a luna that was submissive and obedient, a Luna that only lived to please him.
They were both in for the surprise of their lives. Gabriel got a strong willed Luna, and Ivory got the ice cold alpha.
But will they ever mend their old friendship and maybe add on some love? Or will they learn to hate each other and reject the only love they will ever get?

I decided to take this book down for a day to rewrite it, I knew I wouldn't get very far if I had kept it the way it was.

"I can't," was my reply. "I just.... I c-can't."
His concern soon flooded to complete outrage. I was practically rejecting him for reasons unknown to him, and for an Alpha, he'd never accept this. "Why can't you?! Since when have I ever done something to prove I didn't care about you just now?!"
I looked down in shame. Sarah was keeping a fierce stance, though. She knew that we had to save our rogue friends, and that we weren't really rejecting Ty. If we wanted to really reject him, we would've done so already. I think he kind of knew it too, but he was mad nonetheless.
"Look Ty, I'm sorry I can't tell you. But I really can't be here right now. Maybe someday this will work. But I'm not selfish enough to give up something I care for."
