The Walking Dead (An Attack on Titan Special)

On September 11, 2020, the government released the "New Start" of the world, or so it was called. On this day, humanity received a grim reminder.
The world will never change.
It started in southern California. The focus, or start, was in LA. Where all disease settles, and no one can argue. It started with one. Then hundreds. And soon thousands of helpless creatures roamed the Earth devouring every soul that breathes. Soon, to take their last breath.

Levi Ackerman, burdened with the scar that will remain with him for as long as he lives. He was the only survivor of the focus. He witnessed pain and destruction before his eyes, and he couldn't do a thing about it. He watched loved ones rot and turn into one of them. A Dysosis. A rotting corpse in a trance that will leave only the thought of killing in mind. In other words, zombie. Levi would soon have to wander the ruins of the world to save himself. That will soon change, when Levi stumbles across a certain boy.

Armin Arlert, a small boy that has succeeded in keeping a sharp mind, yet lacking any form of muscle. He wasn't in any shape to survive what was coming to him. Separated from his two best friends, Armin is forced to survive on his own, avoiding the spread of Dysosthria, the disease, for as long as his weak legs can take him. On the brink of death, Armin is saved. By the masked man.

Will Levi and Armin survive the apocalypse? And what will happen, when they meet a certain someone with their last words of...
