The world of Altlock has been a quiet place for the last one hundred years. That quiet is about to be undone. The vampyre, a long thought dead race, have announced their return and the small kingdom of Raven's Hold is caught in their crosshairs. Wielding the dark magic of the just as extinct dark elves, they seek the three amulets that can grant them ultimate power and make them the dominant race over all of Altlock. Borimar, dwarven treasure hunter, must team up with his old friend Markus, the young king of Raven's Hold to form a resistance against this new threat.

Meanwhile, to the south, a mysterious dwarf partners with a headstrong, yet naive, young man on a quest to return a powerful amulet to its resting place in the long-dead city of Elvintika, the one time home of the dark elves.
