How can one live their life like a lost puppy, afraid of being rejected? Afraid of doing anything that might annoy someone else? That's what life was like, until I met a group that changed me forever.
This is just a quick short story I felt like writing. Not my favorite story that I've written but it gets the point across so :)

Rejecting Red
PREVIOUSLY CALLED: Rejected, Perfected "I Greg Wilson, alpha of the Red Moon pack, reject you, Samantha Nightwing, as my mate and future Luna" he whispers so only i can hear it. It wasn't my fault
This is a novella I had to write for school and I would like some feed back. EXCERPT Pain is something I've become very accustomed to. Whether I like it or not. It sounds mental though, I know. My biggest fear is being alone, even though I already am. As I walk into the school I see them, my 'friends'. They're sitting in the quad all chatting to one another. I try to turn around before one sees me but I see one waving me over so I'm left with no choice but to go. "Hey guys" I greet them with a shaky voice. So if anyone has feedback for me or just wants to talk comment or message me anytime and I'll get back to you as soon an I can. Also I need a good book cover so if you send me one I'll use it but in the mean time I'll be looking for one.Complete

I was always the shy one and the quiet one. Heck people would think I was even mute! I was considered the nobody but just a freaky nerd girl. Have you ever had one of those terrible yet annoyingly pivotal moments? You know, that monumental fragment of time that flips everything you have ever known. That plot twist second that completely takes you by surprise. The one just before the storm hits and everything goes to hell. Yes? Because you see, that moment happens to be my whole damn life. It wasn't always like this though. I used to have a pretty mundane existence, happy to just get good grades and be around my friends. God I wish I could get that simplicity back, I'd never complain it was boring again. But I know I'm not going to ever get back my old life because well... I died. (Kinda) But I woke up. And I was thrilled, beyond grateful I wasn't dead. But then I realized that there was one minor detail that had changed about my reality. I was given the chance to live but it turns out I woke up as the villainess in an otome game my friend used to be obsessed with - Kingdom of freaking Hearts (I added the freaking in there for effect, it's just Kingdom of Hearts) Where, for the record, the villainess only has two possible endings 1) execution and 2) getting exiled. So Fate was like, "Don't worry, I'll save you. Here's a chance to live" and then was like "psyche, screw you. You're still going to die but I'll let you suffer a little first." So now, if only to annoy Fate by proving it wrong, I am determined to survive. I can and I will if I play by these simple rules: 1) Befriend Heroin 2) Avoid Aryn Edwards at All Costs as well as other capture targets And 3) Be the top student at the academy and become an invaluable asset to my Kingdom so I become indispensable, thus unkillable. I'm determined, stubborn, persistent and I will live passed 16. Fate made a big mistake setting me up to die. Since it threw this plot twist at me, I figure I'll return the favor. I'll be the biggest plot twist Fate never saw coming...
Not Rejected, Just Unwanted

"Who wants to whip it first?" My eyes widen and I begin to struggle. Sweat forms as I face what's about to happen. "Me!" A girl yells. My heart sinks in my chest. I am so scared. "Two lashes!" I hear people cheering and laughing. No! Please moon goddess! No. I don't scream when the whip connects with my body. I've been through this before. I'm whipped again. I'm whipped 17 times before they stop. The alpha begins to talk but I can't hear anything. There's rushing in my ears. My vision is blurred. I'm in too much pain. I feel a couple more lashes between monologues. Suddenly I'm pushed to the ground with the ropes cut off. My hands behind my back, a gun to my forehead. I cry as the gun is pressed against my head. I look up at the alpha and his cold gaze locks mine. "Mate." I hear that one word despite all the pain. He hesitates before he drops the gun. "Alpha." The beta says shocked. "Take her away." The alpha growls looking at the gun in his hand. "Yes, sir."Complete

People stopped caring... they gave up, why aren't you?" I fought my tears. "Because I feel the need to care. Did Leigh hurt you? Did she hit you?" he finally noticed the unusual redness of my cheek. I don't like the way he told me he needed to care for me. I felt like an obligation, a responsibility that he is carrying and carrying leads to getting tired and when people gets tired, they give up. I don't want them to give up on me. But they will, so it's good not to make them care for me in the first place. "I never needed anyone. I stopped needing anyone before, why start now?" I uttered the words again. Why? There is nothing to fight for. No mama. No papa. No sister to love me. No one. So why would I waste my life and the time of others to fix what is already broken - and someone who doesn't want to be fixed? If I may add. Maybe I gave up. No, scratch that. I gave up a long time ago - when my parents died, my hope and purpose went away with them.Complete
The Twist of Mate
