Yup, it is what it says! Some of these might be a little longer than "short", but I'll do my best to separate stories into more digestible parts if needed. Some but not all of these stories are connected, some may even contradict each other. View each of these stories as a completely separate universe unless they reference another story in this book. This was supposed to be a normal celebration in which the current King of the Orhas would appoint a new ruler to take his or her place. But what they didn't expect was that later that night, a group of men would attack the town separating twelve year old Violet from her parents.
