Everyone believes that the life of a princess is all grand masquerade balls, parties, and high teas. I wish I had been given that luxury. I am Princess Katya Morgan Argenti, High Princess of the Werewolves. For over a century, I have been in hiding from my family, my mate, and those that would harm them should I come out of the shadows and take a step towards my destiny.
Will I be allowed to look upon my mate's face with unadulterated joy, and begin my life with him? Will he punish or reject me for leaving all those years ago? Will my people survive if I step out of the shadows, and reclaim my place at my family's side?
Right now, I know the answer to none of these questions. Therefore, I remain a ghost, a chameleon. I live my life as the Shadow Princess.
