"Everything my father teaches is true, everything. Gods and goddesses are real and there are people out there trying to kill them and stop their reproduction. Those people are called Hunters, fallen angels, former gods and goddesses banished by Zeus."

Eighteen year old Bianca Goodwin is a cynical teenage girl who takes a class in Greek Mythology to avoid having to take maths. Orphaned at a young age, and with no other relatives alive, she's never known what it's like to have a family, and all she wants is to know the details of her past. She's never been a big believer in Greek Mythology and she thinks it's all nonsense. Until she notices that Luke Bailey, her partner in the class has golden eyes. And suddenly everything she thought she knew dissolves and she realises that the world isn't as black as white as it seems. She will soon learn about her past, and discover more of who she is.

After all, gods and goddesses are real, and they are most definitely not safe.

*to be edited: please excuse any continuity errors and / or mistakes in regards the writing quality of Hades* Ellie is just like every other normal eighteen year old girl in the world, except for one big reason. She's the daughter of Hades. And an immortal goddess in charge of managing suicide in the world. And she's been locked in the darkness of the Underworld for her entire life. So basically, her life couldn't get any more abnormal if she tried. Ellie longs to experience life like everybody else her age, but for as long as she can remember her parents haven't let her travel up to the surface, and she's been forced to imagine the upper world through the stories her mother told and the books she read. Until, one day, her parents finally give in and let her go up to the surface to see the world through her own eyes, and her world explodes with colour. Then, just when she thinks her life couldn't get more exciting, she stumbles across a very particular green-eyed god; one who throws her perfectly organised world into complete chaos and shows her what it means to live in the light. But what Ellie doesn't know, is that the Fates have a prophecy for her. A prophecy that she couldn't escape if she tried. A prophecy that has tangled it's gnarled fingers into the threads of her life, and may just throw the world into the darkness Ellie has spent her whole life trying to escape. "He's the son of Aphrodite, she's the daughter of Hades. He's light, she's the oncoming darkness. He advocates for love, she's the embodiment of death. What could possibly go wrong?" [COMPLETED - ONLY MINORLY EDITED] ******************************************************** Greek myths - true or false? They should be false, and to 16-year-old Sophie Claire, it's never crossed her mind that they aren't. Until one day in History class when her teacher spends a day on Greek mythology and something strange starts happening - her friends and classmates begin to tell myths about certain Greek deities with frightening precision. And for some reason, she's began to feel a certain affinity for Persephone, the Greek maiden who was kidnapped by Hades, the Lord of the Underworld, and forced into a marriage with him. This isn't some coincidence or freak dream, she later finds out from a host of strange individuals who claim they're from Olympus, the grandoise home of the gods themselves. She is actually a modern reincarnation of the goddess Persephone, and she's not the only one. A few of her classmates also happen to represent the gods and goddesses from popular Greek myths, and the fact that all of them are present means that something monumental is about to happen. Something like being the girl to change Persephone's future, to break the cycle of kidnapper and victim - all by passing a trial. It won't be simple, she knows, and she's not quite that eager to take it up, but from the moment she found out that she was Persephone, there was no way to back out. She should've known, however, that dealing with all powerful, immortal deities wasn't going to be easy. They've got a few secrets and personality flaws up their sleeves, and they could be deadly. More than deadly - murderous.

The gods are dying and and only Hades knows why. There is nothing quite as frustrating as being the last person to know what's going on. Most days it seems like the whole world knows something Autumn doesn't-the whole Underworld, anyway. For 18 year-old Autumn, the biggest obstacles in her foreseeable future are paying for college and staying out of trouble. She doesn't need gods of half-forgotten myths swooping in to alter her course-but Hector, the second incarnation of the Lord of the Underworld, has never been one to sit back and watch the world burn. Enter Autumn, unknowing, untrained, unwilling Fury: the perfect secret weapon in a secret war of the gods. Hector and Autumn strike a bargain but the more Autumn gets to know the inhabitants of the Underworld, the further she gets from her all-too-human problems. Who can think about homework or consequences when all of the gods are dying? With the help-or the hindrance-of the Fates, Autumn must train with Harpies, Furies, and other creatures formerly of myth to win an impending war for Hector, restore the ambrosia to Olympus, and be home in time for graduation. All in a Tuesday's work.
