"Her name is Hela," he replied, watching the infant lose interest in the shield and move onto something else. Hela looked up at the mention of her name and the same grin came across her face. The smile reminded the Avengers of Loki, it was clearly obvious. The child seemed more innocent, but she was clearly his daughter.
It didn't take a genius to know what they were about to do. The Avengers were about to have their hands full.

Loki's only daughter was taken from him when she was just a baby. Her father was a criminal and unfit to care for her, and her mother was dead, so Odin ordered Hela to be sent to Midgard. Thor automatically calls up S.H.I.E.L.D. and soon Hela is being sent there to be raised by the Avengers. How will the young girl turn out being raised by superheroes, and more importantly, how will Earth's Mightiest Heroes fair against Loki's daughter?

Loki wasn't the only baby taken from Jotunheim, he wasn't the only child of Laufey taken to Asgard and raised next to Thor. Eirlys Odinsdottir. Loki's twin sister. Odin's beloved princess. The snowdrop of Asgard. And missing. As a small child Eirlys vanished from Asgard, leaving Loki without his other half, his twin, his partner in crime, his best friend. There was nothing for him to do. Now, centuries later, Loki is an Avengers, in a committed and healthy relationship, and is suffering through headaches and visions, like someone is trying to reach out to him. And he has no choice but to follow the clues. What he and the other Avengers find though, none of them were expecting.
