The village that lived on the edge of the Fire forest, a forest notorious for being unsurvivable, from the plagues that lived there to the unforgiving terrain, had somehow been at peace for the longest time. That all changed when demons and ghouls from hell began to terrorize the village, killing animals and children, bringing terror and disaster. The village priest went to the gateway to hell at the edge of the cursed forest, and summoned the king of the underworld himself, asking what the village needed to do to be free from the terror that was raining upon them. The God of Hell then said he required a bride to be sacrificed to him. And Odette Leoth was the unfortunate victim to be willingly sacrificed by the village.
