Born into a world that was not her own originally, Hikari Tachibana will quickly realize that reincarnation is real and has happened to her. She's given a new chance at life, and she is thankful.

Orphaned at 7, Hikari is sent to Konohagakure for her own protection by the Raikage. She's accepted into the village by the Hokage, and he sends her to the Academy to pick up her education as a kunoichi from where it had left on in Kumogakure.

A few years after, Hikari graduates from the Academy as a proclaimed child-genius and prodigy. She's placed on to Team 7 (instead of Sakura Haruno) with Naruto Uzumaki, her best friend, and Sasuke Uchiha, a boy she can identify with much more than she ever wanted to.

As her adventures on Team 7 under the direction of Kakashi Hatake continue, secrets she had hoped to keep secret will come to light and nothing will ever be the same again.
