All of her life Violet has been a stranger. A stranger to herself, to her parents-whom she never met-, and a stranger to the other orphans. At least she was at Hecker's Orphanage. It was the best orphanage in America. But that was more than she can say for the orphans who take residence there. That is until four new orphan arrive and turn Violet's world up side down. With things happening to her that she can't explain, the four orphans may just be the death of her.
