In the country of Barlow the laws are horrid. Any kind of crime almost always end in death, and babies are killed if they have any kind of special needs or horrible health problems. Any kind of school has to be paid for.

Mya Rivair is a normal girl living in Barlow, except for the fact that she is the only child of the Vice President. Mya's father always had high hopes for her. He wanted her to take his place when he died but she was hesitant.

When Mya is suddenly attacked by a group of rebels who call themselves The Requisite, she begins to see the horrible laws that she and other citizens live by. Now she has a decision to make; be her father's perfect daughter or help fight for a cause that could get her killed?

Which will she choose?

1 part Complete

All her life, Joana has been a devoted follower of the system. For a decade, she's lived in the compound and never questioned the government that put her there. But now they've gone too far. When her best friend, Brian, is put on death row she begins to question everything. Why were they still stuck inside the compound? Why did they get to make all the rules? When would the country get to make their own choices again? Enlisting the help of Brian's rebellious and slightly annoying friend, Gordon, Joana tries to get Brian back. But in the middle of everything, Joana discovers that she's bit off much more than she can chew. The world of rebellion wasn't made for her, but neither was the system. Can she find her own way in this broken world? Or will she continue to let everyone else define her?
