Sometimes our life changes unexpectedly. We may lose someone we care about, gain a new family member, fail at something we love. We might even become a new person. Not physically, but inside, we change. We don't recognize who we are or what we stand for. We become someone else entirely. I hate to admit it, but I'm a new person. I don't know myself anymore. I look in the mirror and see the same fiery red hair, the same teal green eyes, the same heart shaped face. But when I stare into those eyes, I see a hardness I've never seen before. During this past year, I've lost myself.

We all crave it, that sense of belonging. It doesn't matter how popular you are or how many friends you have, sometimes you just don't feel like you belong. That's when, you become one of us. People begin to think that you're a hopeless case and so many give up on us, and in turn we give up on ourselves. In this crazy messed up world, will anyone see the lost?
