The Survivors Hunt

"If only the strong survive, why do we?"

Times have changed. The year is 3014, and creatures from other worlds have taken occupancy on Earth. At first, the Government believed they were no threat, even mindless, but they were wrong. The creatures took over, and brought others, stronger beings to Earth. These mixed with other out-of-world creatures and made many new species, Monsters, or like we call them, Reapers. The Aliens took over the Government completely, but also allowing just a few Humans to stay in office. That way, everyone knows who rules who.

The world was then divided into two parts, the first is everything in the center, they named it "Fortress" and this is where the most intellectual beings, (namely the aliens) reside. The "New Government" manages everything in there, everything. They do allow humans to live there, as long as they devote themselves fully and without complaint, to "There Way." Most of the humans there, are young ones, whose usually older parents, have sent them there to have a better life. The second part of the world, where the majority of humans live, and the Reapers, is everywhere else. They've allowed us to still call it Earth. It's in this part that the New Government, leave alone, they don't support it, but they don't bother either. They allow humans to exist, for now.

Me, my friends and family live in Earth. We hunt the Reapers to survive, and stay away from the Fortress. My name is Steve Sims, I want to change things. I want peace. But for now, I'll survive.
