What if we didn't all bleed the same color? What if some of us bled blue? Humans and the garishly named Zurans have lived side by side for centuries, since the time of dragons, kings, and pyramids. After several millennia of tumultuous coexistence, the humans have proven to be the dominant species, subjugating Zurans and slipping power suppressants in the food source. Even still, Zurans find themselves making strides for equality, dominating sports worldwide and making waves in the entertainment world.

The Dogun siblings are one such example. After a series of traumatic events left them orphaned, Isis and her unbalanced younger brother Ré were shipped to Southern California, San Uriel specifically, with their negligent godfather. With their enterprising minds and a supernatural secrets, they were entrepreneurs before either of them graduated high school. Isis has become one of the top surgeons in America and moonlights as the medic for the San Uriel Ferals. Her younger brother Ré was crowned the 'Greatest Fighter in the world' after defeating the other members of his team, the Ferals, in the global fighting tournament known as RixaQuator. Their childhood friends have even gotten a taste of their own fame as entertainers and fighters and the future seems much brighter than it once was for the siblings.

Their sunny days are shadowed by the sudden arrival of a goddess who cryptically proclaims the world's end. Now, the Doguns have to choose between trusting a the word of woman who looks nothing like the deities they're used to, or potentially falling victim to their own dark secrets amidst the world's end.
