Karen Queen, devastated after her brother and father's disappearance,moved to Central City when she was eighteen, being taken in by Joe West, his daughter Iris, and his foster son Barry. Naturally, being a fellow science lover, Barry and Karen make up the CSI unit of the CCPD. But little did they know, their lives were about to be changed forever.

With the news that her brother has re-surfaced and returned home, she boards a plane to Starling City. Little does she, or any of the other passengers on flight 425 know, they won't ever see it. Lightening strikes the plane, bursting the fuel tank and cashing it, killing 446 of the 448 passengers. Karen is rushed to the hospital after the Lightening-infused plane fuel accidentally enters her blood stream.

Next thing she knows, she wakes up from a coma next to Barry, in a strange lab, with the ability to fly. But, what happens when the two of them start to see each other in ways they never have before?

Can Barry sweep her off her feet?

I had a ton of fun writing this, and put a lot of time and energy into making it, and I'm really proud of how it turned out. I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it! (P.S., there are some elements of horror that I used in my story, although a quick fact about me, even something as small as a gremlin or a bee scares the pants off of me!
