I've seen many things in this world. I've seen 6 of the 7 great wonders. I've traveled long and far. I've lived in military bases and underground. I've eaten spiders and drank goats blood. I've experienced the cultures all over the world. But, nothing will ever to compare to the times I've spent in the mind of a schizophrenic.

You don't believe me anyways. You don't see me throwing away my inhibitions or filling up my online shopping cart. You don't see me diving into new life goals and careers and areas of study. You don't see my cry to myself in the car when my chest sinks in and my head gets crushed in a vice. You don't feel the panic in my stomach whenever I must make human contact. And you sure don't see how hard I try. How I wake up every morning and apply my mask. My work mask- to conceal all of this. But.... It's been the same mask for many years And my mask is wearing thin. My sadness, my anger, my paranoia and grand euphoria are trying to become a part of your world too. A world where it's not welcome. I float calmly, eternity surrounds me, I speak no words, but I hear my voice in all directions. I feel my head, it's wet with blood. I feel my stomach, the same. I am dead. I reach my hand out, but I do not feel his grip embrace mine. I look in his direction but he is not there, mere darkness, no blackness, no... there is nothing. I am nowhere. I float alone, in my ears ring melodies that sound familiar but I am sure I've never heard. I feel my identity fading. I float alone, surrounded by infinity. I am free, but I have never felt so trapped. What am I remembering? When did I get here? How many times have I been here? I open my eyes.
