Life is as dull or as fun as you will it to be. Casey Drake discovers this when she moves across the country to Denver, Colorado. She meets some great people and finally creates a new routine of life there. Then a new kid arrives and messes everything up. Hatred is all that is in their relationship. They fight constantly in class and always bump into each other. Casey suddenly finds herself falling for him after one incident of them seeing each other randomly. But does he feel the same way? Does she even truly like him in this way? What's going on in her world, causing her to see everything in a new light? It's as if she were sightless.

Nothing good can come from this and she is determined to keep her distance from a boy who may just break her into un-fixable pieces this time. But the more Becca tells him that she wants nothing to do with him the more intrigued he is with her.
