Sweet Dreams

My name is Audrey. I walk the grounds of both Heaven and Hell and I live to tell the story of dreams.
I was princess on an island in Heaven, where dreaming was outlawed, for it brought with it thoughts of evil and agents of Hell. I did not believe Father when he told me that dreams were evil, for he obviously had never dreamt before.
I chose not to listen.

This is a short story inspired by the song "Sweet Dreams" by Emily Browning.

It was originally written in 2013, so it's a little rough but I am gradually editing and improving it.
