14 year old Promise Ann has just witnessed one of the worst thing you can imagine. She has lost her mom at the age of 8 and had to live with her torn apart dad and 1 year old sister. But on her 14th birthday the family was on a trip when everything went wrong. Promise is now stuck at an orphanage where no one could give even give a crap about her.
