Hey, the names Mia Corteza. You've probably heard of my last name, and if you haven't then you probably live under a rock. I'm the daughter of the great Joey Corteza, the Mobster? Oh ring a bell now? Great. My father is one of the most vicious and dangerous mobsters of the mafia world, and I'm his little girl..so my father is a little protective over me, and that mostly speaks about guys. But when one night I meet a guy at a club and he turns out to have a secret as bad as mine he's not the likely man for my family of Mobsters to like.

Blake Sanchez is the youngest of the 4 Sanchez brothers. He is the trouble maker out of the Sanchez bunch. Many say he gets that from his father but he never likes to be associated with him in any way. He alone has gone through the most out of them and has to face the repercussions of his brothers actions every day. The boy is given a chance at true love with someone who understands him more than he thinks she does. Blake doesn't know how to love and show affection towards another human because he's never been taught or shown it. The Sanchez Family are the mob bosses of the Italian Mafia and have been butting heads with rivals along the way. Blakes list of problems seems never ending too many but he manages to deal with his anger issues that he can't control, living life with no parental guidance except for his older brothers. How will Blake react to the problems that are just ahead in this rollercoaster that he has to call life? Will his mentality crumble along with his reputation or will he overcome the obstacles that his families profession has put out for him? The Sanchez Brothers are known to be the most coldhearted killers in the mafia business alone but what really happens behind closed doors? Does living up to their reputation cloud their judgement from separating work and home life?

Love isn't always gentle. Sometimes, it's cruel. Sometimes, it's obsessive. And sometimes, it's dark enough to ruin you. Mia Romano was born into silence, and the world ensured her suffering for it. As the mute daughter of the Chicago Mafia's consigliere, she was treated like a defect, a flaw to be erased. With no voice, she felt invisible at least in the ways that mattered. She was mocked, mishandled, and used. In her own home, she existed only when her father needed something to break. And even then, he didn't hesitate. Not once. By twelve, she understood the weight of fear like a second skin. She learned how to survive by shrinking, how to disappear without moving. But monsters have a way of sniffing out the quietest prey. Remo Vittorio was the worst kind of monster. As the Capo of Las Vegas, his name was spoken only in whispers, if at all. He didn't rule with fear; he was fear itself. He built an empire on blood and silence, a storm that came without warning, an executioner who didn't flinch. Men twice his size bowed to him. Entire families vanished under his orders. His mercy was a myth. He felt no guilt. He didn't believe in love. But the first time he saw her, fragile and wide-eyed, a porcelain doll surrounded by wolves, something inside him cracked. Not softened. Not healed. She was terrified of him, and that only made it worse. Because Remo Vittorio didn't know how to love gently. He only knew how to keep. And once something was in his grasp, he never let go. An angel was given into the hands of the devil himself.
