"Why do you keep coming back for us?"

"Because you were the first. The first face this face ever saw, and you're seared into my hearts, Amelia Pond, and you always will be. I'm running to you and Rory. Before you fade away from me."

But what if they don't? What if the beloved Ponds had never faded away from their raggedy man? How would episodes like The Name of The Doctor, The Day of The Doctor, Deep Breath, and so many more have played out if Rory and Amy were there?

What would it be like if they hadn't gone?

"You hit him with a cricket bat?" I asked my best friend, Amelia Pond."And then you cuffed him to the heater in the hall?" She shrugged "He was breaking and entering! What else was I supposed to do?" I sighed and held the bridge of my nose. "Our neighbors walk in all the time. He was probably just dropping by to say hello." Amelia shook her head fiercely. "No. He called me Amelia. No one calls me that anymore except you. Plus, I don't even know him. Just admit it," she said. "I was being responsible." "Maybe," I halfway agreed. "But you still could have hurt him." I bent down to the strange man who and felt his forehead, pushing his shaggy, brown hair out of the way. Something about him seemed familiar, but I couldn't place what. Was Amelia really sure that she hadn't seen him before? The man groaned and shifted. I jumped back onto my feet and backed away, pushing the thought of familiarity out of my mind. "He's waking up," Amelia said, stating the obvious. She turned to me. "I have a plan, but I don't have time to explain. Just follow my lead. Get behind me and pretend to be scared." ~ Catherine Wood was just a normal girl from America. Or so she thought. Amelia and Avalyn Pond were two Scottish girls who lived in an English village named Leadworth. when Amelia was seven and Avalyn was six, they met a strange man who called himself 'The Doctor', after his little blue box fell out of the sky, into their back garden. After saving them from a crack in their wall, The Doctor leaves with the promise of returning five minutes later, so when he returns later than expected, there's no wonder why they've changed. Despite everything, Amelia and Avalyn decide to travel the universe, through time and space, with The Doctor, in his TARDIS. As time goes by, The Doctor starts to notice that Avalyn's eyes catch the attention of everyone they meet, and it annoys him that he can't figure out why. But with cracks in the skin of the universe appearing, The Doctor can't seem to find the time to work it out. Perhaps the cracks can provide more answers than The Doctor was expecting to find, opening up new posibilities that he could only ever hope for. ○~@~○ "I like your eyes." She stated suddenly, causing The Doctor to pause in his actions. "My eyes?" He asked her, an amused grin on his face as he kneeled down to her hieght. "What about them?" Avalyn smiled shyly, her own eyes wide with a sense of wonder. "Everything." She told him simply, giggling when The Doctor pouted at the answer. "The way they contradict everything else about you." She decided to elaborate. "Sad and old and wise; full of impossible stories that hold millions of words. Cold with grief, while at the same time, warm with the kindness of a man that can do no wrong." Avalyn paused as The Doctor grinned wildly at her. "Oh, Pond..." He sighed; shaking his head slightly, patting her on the head. "See you both in five minutes." He promised, jumping into the blue police box as the sisters observed, holding hands. They smiled brightly as they heard The Doctor's fading cry of 'Geronimo!'. . . ○~@~○ [Based on season 5]
