My name is Fate Clarkson. 17. You know how in movies and books theres always that Queen Bitch? Whore of the school? Yeah well, thats my ex-conjoined, twin sister, Ricki. When my father decided to remarry, he packed up and moved to a little town called Willerton, dragging Ricki and I with him. We had to enroll at a new High School, starting at the bottom of the popularity pyramid and work our way up.. Or at least I did. But Fate meets one particular boy who annoys her to no end, a boy she can't stand to be in the same room as. They're sworn enemies... "Would you like to dance?" the boy asks me. I stare deep into his blue eyes, but I can't figure out who he is. He's tall with dark hair and the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen. I know everyone at this school, but with his features hidden behind his mask I can't tell who he is. "Sure, I would love to." Did I just say that? The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?"
