With words filled with fragmented despair, loathe for the world, and a broken, hollow, low tone befitting that of one whose sanity has become unhinged and is most certainly slipping away from humanity....Kanna Kaneki struggles to maintain balance on the tight rope of being a half-ghoul hybrid by a choice she couldn't make....being tortured beyond any withstand-able capacity that any human could bear, she 'splits' herself mentally into three different entites...herself, the shy, gentle Kanna, Shiro, her non-human half that is quite feral and dangerously cunning, and Kuro, her rational side that remains apathetically calm to the point of being dissonantly serene....having to cope with the after affects of being tortured can Kaneki overcome her ghoulish tendencies of vindictive impulses to all who wronged her while also trying to protect those she holds most dear? Or will she end up losing to the darkest side of her that she fears and repulses against? Which 'wolf' will she feed, the 'good' one or the 'evil'?
