Long ago a prophecy told of a great danger that would annihilate the twelve witches that took up residence in New Salem. In order to protect their home, the ancient coven had to summon the power of the demon Raoul, a nasty thing that fed on the lives of whoever was willing to strike a deal with him. He helped them in exchange for their lives, but instead of going back to the other side, his spirit stayed in New Salem. . .
Enter Chloe Montgomery. With her father getting a new job, Chloe is uprooted from her home in Greenfield and moved to the creepy little town of New Salem. Upon her move into the neighbourhood, though, she starts to notice strange things, specifically about the eleven teenagers who live in surrounding houses. Referred to as "The Group" by her fellow classmates, the eleven kids are anything but normal. They're the coven destined for the prophecy. But a coven is made of twelve, and they want Chloe to be the final piece. . .
