1941. The world is at war. Women, children, soldiers, they're all victims of the countless bombings and useless shootings. Cities are being destroyed, and lifes are ending. In the midst of all this chaos, in Statham, Georgia, two people stumble upon each other, and fall madly in love. They're soon convinced they are soulmates, but sadly, the circumstances don't allow them to be together. In these times of terror, while they are miles apart, they write to each other, in the hopes to give each other some strength. Years after the war ends, they find each other at last.

2015, seventy years after the war ended, writer Amanda Lovestone is desperately searching for a story. Her publisher has been on her back since the release of her last novel, and now she is forced to write a historical novel to celebrate seventy years of peace in Europe. After searching for months, she finally finds someone worth visiting, ninety-five year old Rebekah Abrahams. Even though she is very old (probably the oldest woman Amanda's ever met) she is still very much active, and loves to tell Amanda her story. At Amanda's very first visit, Rebekah pulls out a box full of letters, love letters she had received and sent. The letters tell the story of Rebekah's life, and tell the tale of her tragic romance. Slowly but surely, Amanda sees a chance to share Rebekah's story with the world.

[BOOK TWO] "Anniversaries to some are like counting the years spent doing something great, years spent together, or years spent alive." I started slowly, voice dropping to a drawl as I peeked cautiously out of my bedroom blinds, scanning the road to see if there was a cloaked figure watching my every movement. "I view anniversaries as counting down the days till death finds me." *** After the events of her wonderfully packed 21st birthday, Addison was ready to retire back into her home and never again see the light of day. It wasn't a totally bad idea. After all, her family's generations-old riches was enough to tide her over until the day her past finally catches on, and until that day finally arrives, she had no intention to step out of her front door. And to think the last time she did, she ended up in the game of cat and mouse with a cynical hooded spirit that wanted her dead and her soul in a glass bottle for his own little sadistic collection. Silence had followed the whole year after the disastrous party. For nearly 365 days, Addison had no trouble with unwanted evil celestial beings lurking around her house in an attempt to take her soul away with a world-stopping kiss. However, the silence was too often, and the world had become too quiet. Reason being? Apparently, Death's new move was to kidnap her best friend Minnie Hoover in an attempt to bait her down to hell itself. Life became much quieter without one-third of her little clique. And so Addison ventured away from the safety of her home, in search of her best friend. After all, silence creeps the heart just as death does, and the world was now deadly silent. ***** Highest Rank Fantasy: #9 Highest Rank Teen Fiction: #77

An amorous tale which is not one of grand romantic gestures or picture-perfect moments. It was woven through time, stitched together with silent promises, unspoken feelings, and an unbreakable bond that endured separation, pain and the weight of the past. A girl, who is a war journalist, had spent years witnessing the horror of battlefield, carrying the weight of lost lives and shattered dreams. The war in zahran had taken more from her than she could ever put into words - her peace, her friends and a part of herself she feared she could never reclaim. When she returned, broken and distant, she had one instinct - to run. An she did. Leaving behind him, the only constant she had ever know, without a single goodbye. He searched for her, never giving up, never forgetting. The six years of her absence had changed him too. One night, she returned, but wasn't the same. She carried nightmares in her eyes and scars on her soul. He never once asked her why she left- he just chose to stay. He let his presence speak louder than words, offering her the patience, the space and the quiet love. Their love wasn't rushed. It wasn't dramatic. It was real - formed in the depths of understanding, in the warmth of silent support, in small things that meant everything. It was love that had endured war, separation and time. And in the end, it was love that found it's way back home. Because love like theirs wasn't meant to be lost - it was meant to be fought for.

WARNING R-RATED Disaster-in-Waiting was a dream come true for me. Firstly writing it and then sharing it on here and receiving such a wonderful response to it. It was because of the support and encouragement on here that I finally took the decision to self-publish as an e-book. It is available on Amazon and can be read for free on there with Kindle Unlimited. ****Mature audience only due to adult themes; sex, language and situations**** Eloise Ross is married to Michael, her much older and recently retired husband. He fills his days with golf and walking the dog, while she fills her days working as a newly appointed P.A. to the CEO of an international company. One night, disillusioned with her sexless marriage she goes out alone, drinks beer and dances with a handsome stranger. The moves on the dance floor quickly lead to passion and excitement like El has never known, but it was only one night, one time. Just that once couldn't mean anything, could it? Just that once changed her view on everything she'd ever thought she'd known or valued; her home, family, husband and marriage, but most of all herself. As her life begins to unravel, with twists and turns that make her laugh, cry and despair El has only one constant to hang onto, her handsome stranger. "Because I don't want to end it. I'm not exactly what you'd call experienced," I said with a warm flush creeping up my cheeks. "I thought everything I had, with Michael was an ideal life until that night, when I met you and something switched inside me, a realisation that it was as far from ideal as anything ever could be. I don't think I'm being clear here, sorry. I am not trying to pin my happiness or the consequences of this on you, God, I don't even call you by your first name so to expect anything of you is not realistic!"
