An abusive father, a depressed girl who can't find hope, and an angel disguise as a boy who can help her through hard times. Some people can't find hope from their home life, no matter how hard they try. But this one girl finds her strength to push on when she meets one boy a couple years older than her. But when he disappears after he graduates, her father gets worse and she gets so skinny that the "nothing but skin and bones" saying becomes her life for these two long years. *I wrote this a while ago and I would seriously recommend not reading it 😂* Rose is an 18 year old girl, she was put in an orphanage when she was 12 years old, but now she has been adopted. Her new parents are very traditional and instantly arrange her a marriage, to a boy who rose is pretty sure is the last thing she needs in her life. But maybe, he's just as broken as she is.
