Character description:
Sara is 15. She is a sophomore in high school. She has long red hair that goes down to her butt. She has green eyes and freckles and dimples. Her teeth are a bit crooked but in a cute way that you almost have to focus on to notice. She mostly gets A's but gets a B every now and then. She is an only child. She's one of the most popular people in her grade, but not because of her clothes or her stuff or the fact that her dad teaches at the state college everyone in her town goes to. She can be shy and introverted, but she has a lot of love in her heart. She'll be anyone's friend, but she won't make a big deal about. Not like Shelby (you'll meet her later). All in all, Sara is not perfect.

Book description:
Sara is your average high school girl. She likes hanging with her friends, frozen yogurt, and going to school events. Right now her biggest problems in life are her upcoming Sweet 16 party, inviting her crush, hoping her crush will kiss her at her party, and making the cheerleading squad. When she's up late, excited about try outs tomorrow, she accidently eavesdrops on a conversation that will change her life. For better or for worse is unknown.
