The story brings back our two favorite bears, Avery and Rick, sharing their first Christmas together as mates. And what would Christmas be without the in-laws? Rick's wonderful and lovable family of grizzlies return to the cabin for another Christmas celebration along with Avery's feisty but wonderful friend Evie and her silent loving husband Scott to share laughs, love, and maybe a little mistletoe.

Because what would Christmas be without mistletoe?

*****COMPLETE***** GRIFFIN- My original escape plan had hinged on tricking a guard, and I had picked River on first sight. Until I realized who he was to me. I never wanted a mate, never wanted to have to rely on another that way, but I've found that I haven't been given much of a choice. On my own, bouncing from one group of evil men to another since the moment I was able to leave the wretched woman who raised me- a curse on her name- I never expected to find my mate while imprisoned for the only crime I didn't commit, in a land not my own, and with my bear bound and gagged. I never expected to find my mate in fierce, flirtatious, gorgeous River. Kind and gracious with a sweet heart and a habit of wearing pretty things that had my bear sitting up and taking notice, River was made for me, and I for him. He was also the man whose sole responsibility it was to guard my cell and keep me from escaping. RIVER- I've fallen in love too many times, and had my heart broken just as often. But this time, with Griffin, the man who swears he's innocent of trying to harm the Emperor, but guilty of every other crime I can think of, I feel... safe. Safe and loved and cared for. Since learning of wild mages and their mates, I've had a desire to have that kind of love. That devotion and pure need that I've seen in the eyes of the men around me. I thought I was safe with him, as his mate, but his betrayal... I'm not sure I'll survive this heartbreak. I'm not sure I'll be able to move past the soul-tearing, heart-rending realization that nothing is as I thought it was. That maybe, as much as I love him, Griffin never saw me as more than the man who held the keys to his cage. ***** The Light Beyond Constellations is a M/M bear shifter fantasy romance and is the fourth and last in the Wild Magic Series, though the Strange Magics Series is linked. Each book can be read as a standalone, but they're best read in order, if only to keep from spoilers :) *****
I SAW SANTA KILL SOMEONE by KassandraVivu
36 parts Complete Mature
Celeste Gray thought it would be nice to stay in a cabin in the woods. Being able to be alone, left with her thoughts, finding nature, and the nice cozy feeling of warmth were what she needed. Which led her to book/rent out a cabin for the whole month of December. Spending the holidays alone shouldn't be too bad. I mean, there's a reason she's alone in the first place; this is what she needed to move on with her life. So everything should be fine. Celeste was wrong about that because the moment she decided to take that trail in the woods, she knew she fucked up. Especially when she saw Santa Clause, not dropping off gifts, not with his reindeer or his sleigh, but standing over a dead body. She just saw Santa kill someone. Ji-Cheol Kim is not your average man, he does something for a living that is not for everyone, but someone has to do it, especially when it's getting justice in a way for people who deserve justice done that way. He was doing his job, which he is very good at when someone who wasn't supposed to be there ended up being there. Now his plans have changed, which led him to do something he doesn't mind doing, finally being able to spend the holidays with someone. Even if the person doesn't want that, she has no choice but to accept it. Neither of them was expecting this to happen. Two people from different worlds who ended up bumping into each other are now spending the holidays together. This was far from being a Christmas miracle. Carl and Jay were a mistake. A mistake made because of a drunken night. But, Carl's special. And Jay just happens to think different. What happens when Carl ends up finally giving some effort to put an 'end' to their story? Will Jay let him go? --- A short story made because the author was too tired to write a long one. All rights reserved. This is a MxM story that contains a little bit of mature language, a scene of mature content, male pregnancy and a different kind of heartbreak. Read at own risk. There's no mention of depression though. I don't tolerate that.
