At the end of middle school, Havilah Smith sees her faith as merely going to church and praying before meals when mom and dad are around. Soon, her paradigm changes. She views Christianity in a whole new light. But, when faced with trials and difficulties, will she choose the narrow path that leads to salvation, or the wide road to hell?

A Christian romance by Charlotte Sigourney.

There were only two things Summer knew about Christians: that they were hypocrites, and that she wanted nothing to do with them or the God they worshiped. When she is urged to attend a support group led by a local church, the last thing she wants to do is get involved, certainly not with its parishioners. Then she meets Sebastian. A member of the church, Sebastian is a Christian in every sense of the word, with a painfully optimistic outlook on life- even though he is dying of cancer. Despite Summer's animosity towards God, she takes a liking to Sebastian and his "bizarre" Christian behavior. Though neither of them believes in love at first sight, something quickly brews between them as Sebastian makes it his life's mission to show her how a true follower of Christ is meant to be, and help her rekindle her forsaken faith. However, as his health deteriorates, they are forced to realize that it takes more than a little faith to stand against death. Sometimes, it takes a belief in miracles.
