Sarah McLanish, 17-year-old, leaves home and her parents. She goes to a well-known (abandoned) city, New York, where only silver remains. Silver bricks, silver chairs, silver houses, silver mailboxes, all of that silver shines in broad daylight everyday. When she meets a survivor of the city, Taylor Ericson, she learns that the city was not what it seems to be now. As she travels and learns about her journey, Taylor develops feelings for her and knows she wouldn't allow to let herself date a boy like him, so he kept his mouth shut. As she comes to realize that the once amazing New York was fading to everything silver, she set her goals and starts working how to save New York. She meets other survivors of the city too, along the way. A story of embarking on a journey of heart-felt excitement, a journey of romance and feelings, and a journey of mysteries.
