Sarah’s family needed that road trip in order to remain . . . a family. They needed to bond . . . and be locked in a car for eighty-four hours. You heard me, four days.
Sarah is forced to go, along with her eighteen year-old brother, Gage. He hated her, she hated him.
They were constantly arguing. And her parents? They were never really around. They had to go to different countries all around the world for long periods of time. Thankfully, they knew how to Skype.
But I’m getting off track here.
Her parents forced Sarah and Gage to pack up some things – “NO ELECTRONICS!” – and leave for a road trip.
Where are they going, you ask? An old, beaten down, lake house in one of the lesser-known parts of Florida. Sarah’s parents didn’t let her know that they were going to be in an old lake house. Or even a lake house.
Will her and her family bond or will everything be for waste? Will she find romance in that lesser-known parts of Florida?
