No one really knew how X's came to be. One day there weren't any, the next day half the population was wiped out. All Karma knew was that they are technological monsters, fit to be the world's biggest weapon, after the splitting particle ray which could reduce any person into air particles in a millisecond. Karma realised how simple it would be to destroy an army even with one X. They were practically indestructible, perfect killing machines, only they'd turned on the government, apparently. Or maybe those bastards had escaped perfectly unharmed, watching how the country was being destroyed. Maybe it was an excuse for overpopulation. xx-xx Karma has been trying to survive for over a year, but it's difficult when X's, mechanical killing machines, roam the streets, hungry for human flesh. Every day that passes by without finding a portal brings the morale lower. They need to escape the country before they all end up dead. It doesn't help that the X's have changed their tactics and are now manipulating people to commit suicide. The death rate keeps increasing, and Karma has to find out what family means, and to what extremes she would go to save the ones she loves.

However, they have different names now. The Ringleader - The Bearer The Samurai - The Guardian The Archer - The Improviser The Batter - The Runner The Kid - The Medic Mutants are creatures that look human but have one distinct characteristic that proves their true from. It's their eyes. Look into an abyss of blues with rows of symbols circling around the pupil to know the truth. The only way to beat them is to destroy the heart. Once found out, the mutants turn to their real form. They become beasts of legend. Serpants that dwell deep in the sea. Lizards that grow in size and take flight to the skies. Hounds that double or triple in size and spew the elements. And many more shapes, colors, and sizes. Once transformed the heart is shown involuntarily, simply dangling around the neck like a pendant. A virus was created and this virus was passed on to Everyone in the hospital lab quickly causing the first zombie infected appearance. At first it was mild... but like a wild fire, it spread round the city and nearly around the world... humanity was pushed back, homes destroyed....bond broken.... and many more problems came. But after all, humans can adapt quickly. And quick did they adapt... creating weapons that work for both infected and mercenaries alike, humanity had found a way to survive again. Despite the population reducing to an absolute needle size... humanity didn't give up... And now.... something else seems to have appeared... something that would affect everything..

So um this story may be on hold as I have lost interest and have no idea how to continue the story... . (Disclaimer, there is NO smut/inappropriate things, just cute and wholesome~♡ but warning, there may be some dark themes throughout.) . . This story is basically a sonic the hedghog fanfic. It's set in a dystopian reality. im still figuring out everyone's stories even the main plot. But I just go along as my mind pleases. The main 'object' that stirs this story is a plant, named the agony night floret, that infects living things. It was created accidentally in a facility by money hungry mobian scientists and main boss, scarlett the fox. she is the main 'villian', surprsingly not eggman lol. the agony night floret infects mobians, putting them in these stages. first a purple blue rash, then disconfiguration then having the chance to rott and turn into creepy lifeless zombie ish creatures, not hostile but really contagious. They roam around isolated areas. Or, they have the small chance by transforming into these cannibalistic 'flesh-gorgers', coming in different types, 3-4 times bigger than hosts/Mobians size. sonic and his friends travel firstly through the thick, white, winter forests, named 'Nobelwoods' in Nahada, trying to find the facility of where it all happened, while unexpectedly coming across a familiar haze of a huge mossy concrete structure of shadows old-old home. Burnt. It will be told why in the story. I have posted drawings of the characters/unfamiliar characters to understand better of what their appearances looks. thankz for reading this far if u have :) (I'm rambling abt the lore lol) . . . . I never thought my life could make a 180 degree turn . I just wanted to party and enjoy like the rest of the teenagers in the world. Never thought one day I would wake up and see the world differently. Like , bad different. All I know is that my mind doesnt want it. But unfortunately, fate has something else for me. Its bad, terrible and just downright wrong. And it sucks that im intrigued by it so bad and if i dont stop it, itll wreak chaos. Some would have the dillema of choosing what's right and wrong. And thats just easy. But me? Well , I just happen to attract all bad luck in the world that im stuck on choosing between abomination or disaster. Friends and family turn on one another, losing control of their own minds and bodies. The Unaltered aren't safe. Even if the virus isn't attacking them, the ones with the virus are. Set on a pristine, futuristic Earth, this is the apocalypse like you've never seen it before. (Rated mature for graphic depictions of violence and mild language.)
