Sarah Jane was your average seventeen year old girl who lived in the town of Cheston Falls, where light under tones of racism still remained. With graduation drawing near and her relationship with her boyfriend of three years Daniel getting pretty serious Sarah Jane is perfectly content; or so she thinks. What she doesn't know is that her wholesome life is about to change thanks to Marcus Gourdon. Before long Sarah Jane forms feelings for him and battles to maintain the life that has suddenly become a facade. With the hard task of having to break things off with Daniel ahead of her, more trails are yet to come when her parents as well as the town's people begin to see how close her and Marcus are. Will Sarah Jane and Marcus' be able to withstand the pains of being a biracial couple or will both of them be forced to walk away?
