Asuka has been running away from her care home since she realized it was hell to live there, and yet finding freedom is invariably hindered when as far as she gets is wherever Team Asuma collects her. All she wants is to follow her dream, to become a ninja and a good one, too, and she finally gets her wish after one fateful day when Asuma, the ninja family she's always wished for, decides to adopt her. Follow Asuka through the years 5-26 as she becomes a ninja, finds reason to defend the care home she once called hell, and teaches all the other kid-lets there that yes, you too can follow your dreams and do great things.
