Apache Rebel

As a member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe, Ashley Alsenay comes from a long line of strong and proud Apache women. Learning her the ways of her tribe and her traditions, Ashley is following the expectations her family has laid out for her. As she reaches Middle school Ashley joins a group known as the "Apache Rebels" which are known on the reservation as a skateboarding group. As she becomes more involved with the group, Ashley participates less in her tribes culture and traditions. Her family tries to convince her to stay involved in her culture, But Ashley is planning to show her family that she is strong and can represent her ancestors on a skateboard.
