Anastasia Vilhjalmsson is desperate to fit in her new life in New York. Ever since she's moved there from Iceland, she's made two friends and plenty of other acquaintances, which is pretty cool in her book.

Then, it all changes when she starts seeing this confusing message everywhere; "Turn the lights off." She dismisses it the first time, but after that, she gets more and more curious. What's going on?

Then, she finds an extremely old looking book. The title is the message that's been haunting her for the past few days, Turn The Lights Off. 

She buys it and starts reading it , noticing that the messages have stopped.

Then, a glow comes from under her bed, and she's pulled into a world that she never believed in and there's no chance of going back.

What will she do when danger approaches while Anastasia is still adjusting to her new world?

"I knew I was different when I was little, I knew being a werewolf wasn't normal!" The code she made when she was little was to protect her town but that proves to be hard when your dad isn't supernatural and you don't where the hell your werewolf mother went. It also doesn't really help that when she finally makes friends at school they are forced to help Alex as one of them get's bitten by an unknown alpha. What makes matters even worse is that human friend Ben is absolutely terrified of Tyler and Tyler can not stand the sight of Ben. When things finally seem to go back to normal it all blows up in their face one more time, this time the explosion is so big people die and Alex is forced to kill. Will she be able to ever become a normal teenganger again, especially after meeting so many people and seeing so many of them die one by one in front of her eyes. Will she ever be able to get the image of killing out of her head. And will this all ever even stop?! Or is she going to have to be scared for her life for as long as she lives! Female Stalker - A Brooklyn Love Story by Leylalubovin

Lola, a 30-year-old woman, finds herself stalking her boyfriend after a breakup, a position she could never imagine herself to get into, especially at this age. The book starts at a point when Lola has parked her car by her b/f's gym, waits in the car, hoping to see him when he exits the building. She knows what she doing is wrong, and she shouldn't do that, but she is not in control of her emotions, and it is quite the opposite. She feels she needs to see him and to talk to him. And while she waits, all kinds of thoughts are going through her head: "I have a feeling he is seeing someone. I don't want to think about what I'm gonna do to him!" and shortly after: "Maybe I should just leave before he sees me? No! I can't. When you are rolling off a cliff you just can't stop. I guess you need to feel the bottom. The only problem - you don't know where that bottom is." And she is trying to analyze how is it that she got attached to him so quickly and so strongly: "What has he done to me? Is it some kind of a spell? How could I get so attached to him so soon? Is this how true love is supposed to feel? Losing yourself in someone, completely? Or is that just the stupid me?" At this point, the reader may get the impression that Lola is the type of girl that rarely gets the attention of attractive men, and this is why she behaves like that. To their surprise, it turns out that this is not the case. Lola is a tall and astonishingly beautiful woman. She is fun and sarcastic. Men are flocking around her trying to get her attention. And of course, she is not flawless, just like anybody else. And the man she is stalking is just an average guy.. But we don't want to spoil you the whole story. This is a love story has passion and sex in it, as well as fights and misunderstandings. And the main question remains: will Lola succeed in getting him back, or her attempts will only backfire? Read the whole story and find out.

She wakes back up in a castle dungeon and is soon let out when she tells the king who she is and is deemed trustworthy. As she overhears a conversation that a war has been declared and that the evil king has declared war for power and land, Violet says that she'll go over and try to defeat the evil king, just so she can earn peoples' trust. Before It Happens by adrienbrody

Completed for NaNoWriMo, this story follows a twenty-something-year-old freelance reporter named Ash Pa'krou and his ragtag news crew as they go on a quest to discover exactly what lies behind the strange Unity law firm. Unfortunately, this book will remain indefinitely unfinished. My computer broke earlier this year, and along with a bunch of other important data, I lost the ending of this book. While I can place a summary below, I am unfortunately incapable of bringing myself to rewrite the story. ---- spoilers ---- The book ends with Ash realizing that he is of witch descent. Seraph takes him and Killian hostage. After she makes an attempt at their life, Oswald and Christopher come for them. Christopher is killed in the chaos, and Ash realizes he has no choice but to leave Seraph alive in order to maintain the peace between Nueva and Marn. He returns back to the mainland and discovers that while he had achieved something that belonged in history books, none of them would ever receive credit for it due to corrupted footage. Their plan to become a real news team falls apart, and each of them go their separate ways. Ash realizes that he has fallen for Killian, but, knowing that Killian is straight, decides instead to help Killian find happiness. Oswald and Ash remain good friends, but they realize that they will never be the same people they were Before it Happened.
