~*~"Peace? What is peace to the wild and untamed sea, where all of the true adventures begin?"~*~
|Grammatical Editing in Process|
After the War of the Ring, evil was dispersed, and the members of the Fellowship of the Ring disbanded, although bound through love and the trials that they had all endured together, as a single unit fighting for the fate of Middle Earth. Aragorn ruled as a wise and fair king. Boromir had long since passed into shadow. The Hobbits made their way back to the Shire and dwelled there until the end of their days. Gandalf the Wandering Wizard was for once not needed and departed these lands to Valinor from the Grey Havens.
These remaining members of the Fellowship lived in peace and prosperity for many a year.

Two were almost forgotten.

Legolas Thranduilion, Prince of Mirkwood, and Gimli, son of Gloin, set off across the sea.
This is an account of their adventures following the fall of Sauron, in which an Elf and a Dwarf join forces and sail rough waters.
The tides are changing.
A storm is coming.
And we must be ready for when it hits.

"One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its black gates are guarded by more than just Orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep and the Great Eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire and ash and dust..." Boromir addresses the council in a quiet voice "The very air you breathe is a poisonous fume. Not with ten thousand men could you do this. It is folly." He ended in a state like manor As I sighed shaking my head at what he said "Have you heard nothing Lord Elrond has said ? The ring must be destroyed" Legolas said "It is true you cannot just walk into the gates of Mordor but you should not be so naive as to think you alone could destroy the ring" I said as Gimli looked towards me "And I suppose you think you're the one to do it ?" Gimli said cockily "And if we fail, what then ? What happens when Sauron takes back what is his ?" Boromir questioned looking towards Gimli as he leaps to his feet "I will be dead before I see the Ring in the hands of an Elf!" Gimli says looking towards me spitefully. "How dare you speak to me in such a manor dwarf!" I said rage in my voice as the council erupted into a storm of arguments. "Never trust an Elf!" Gimli said towards me as I reach for my arrow but a hand grabs my wrist and I feel warm breath on my ear "I wouldn't" Legolas' voice says against my skin as I look at him our faces inches apart. "Fine" I say through gritted teeth as Legolas lets go of my hand softly and stands by my side.
