After discovering new secrets about her identity, Serenity is questioning her existence, and her place in the guild. She would never dream of leaving Fairy Tail. However, she feels like a burden, and a threat. At any moment she could lose herself again and put all her friend's lives in danger. She is conflicted though, because she still wants to protect them--from herself and other evils.

However, before she can make a decision about remaining in the guild, a new darkness has already risen, but she is denied the right to participate in the mission to destroy it by Master. Wanting to prove that she is still strong and capable of keeping everyone safe, she ignores his orders to stay uninvolved and goes along anyways...
