Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip.
Each drop splashed right next to my face, spraying icy water across my cheek. I finally opened my eyes, letting them adjust to the dim lighting of the room. Looking carefully around, I see nothing but blank walls. Where am I? I lift my body up and reach out to stand, but I'm greeted by sharp, cold pain to my wrists. I'm shackled? Why am I shackled?? I look down at my wrists and gasp. They are a raw and bloody, strips of flesh hanging loosely around the edges of the metal. What happened to me? Ella has always been the shy girl know one remembers. It's not that she wasn't there. She just blended in well. Just out of high school, she's taking a break before college, trying to sort out her life. But as her world finally begins to set into routine, she finds herself spinning out of control. As she chases her memories, she soon find out that sometimes there are things that you just don't want to know. Sometimes, secrets are meant to be kept. And sometimes, the hardest answers to find are the ones you hide from yourself.
