Mikaru is literally living under the rock. Only surrounded by books and her brother, she's not accustomed to the outside world. The culprit is her weak body. She seldom ventured outside of her home because she's afraid. Afraid.

Kaito is Mikaru's first infatuation. He's a friend to her. But Kaito already likes another girl. He can't reciprocate Mikaru's feelings no matter how sorry he felt for her. Kaito will always see her as a little sister.
