Olivia and her best friend Tanner are in their Junior year of high school. Tanner has fallen in love with Olivia over the years of their friendship, However, Olivia has a crush on the mast popular jock in school, Mason.
But when a fatal accident occurs on the field, Olivia is left distraught. Leaving Tanner to cure her depression, he spends as much time with her, the two growing ever closer.
When Tanner finally gains the courage to ask Olivia out on a date, he takes her to a small clearing in the woods. Their curiosity getting the best of them, they abandon the trail, and venture deeper into the forest.
They stumble upon an old bridge, in the middle of the woods, that crosses over a small river. Olivia crosses it, Tanner following. As soon as the two cross over, something spectacular happens.
