Down the rabbit hole.....
Ever since the death of her grandmother Juliet has been fighting Shadows, something she really can't picture her sweet old cookie baking grandma ever doing.
One the night of a full moon she is attacked by a horde of Shadows and falls down a rabbit hole and into the world of Wonderland - a steam-punk, war-ridden, version of the one her grandmother used to tell her stories about. And thanks to something dear old grandma did, the Queen of Hearts is out to behead her.
Now she is stuck fighting for her life (again), trying to find the royals of the other courts, avoiding a too tempting, purple-eyed drool-worthy tool and keeping a friend that is positively of her rocker, in line.
So much for getting home in time for dinner.

Chrissie Christian is a young 15 year old who goes through many adventures, being attacked by creatures, and living as part cyborg and finding out she is a princess of a kingdom called Spades. Her parents are missing and now she must become queen and fight off the kingdoms of Diamonds, Clubs and Hearts. The characters name is Chrissie Christian. She falls in love with the Prince of the kingdom of All, which is where the cast outs go for a place to live. When she is accidentally transported into a different world, a few days pass, but in HER world, many months have passed and now her kingdom is being run by the Kingdom of Clubs. When she returns, she finds a camp where her people are staying. She also finds out that her mother has been under cover as the head maid of the kingdom of Spades. Now they are planning battle strategies. Later, she and a friend, Jellor, leave the camp to find a cave that is told to have many hidden treasures. She and her friend are attacked by a large creature in this cave and are taken through a porthole into her world. They accidentally end up on the beach of a secret island that is meant to hide extreme secrets from the government. This island is where smart scientist people are hiding certain creatures which they have created. Jellor ends up never making it off the island, but Chrissie somehow makes her way back home and is now about to go into battle with her mother, and an army of knights.Complete
