Music. That was the only constant in Shaelynn's life, music had been there for her when the most important things in her life were being torn from her, music was there when her loving father couldn't be. That feeling she got when she put pen to paper and let the rhythm flow through her fingertips as she lay in her room that feeling was something she knew she would always have.

Music. That was the only thing Matt ever thought he could love that wouldn't be taken from him. The feeling he got when he stared out into the club to see everyone jumping to his mix. The pounding of the bass as his best friend stood beside him adjusting the turntable.

❝ "I've never done anything like that with anyone before!" "Maybe you've never been brave enough." His eyes made my heart stop, just as they pierced into mine, leaving a subtle subtext for me to hear. Maybe no one made you feel brave before. But I'm here now, he told me with silent whispers, his hands on mine, his eyes on the street ahead as we walked slowly, endlessly. I'm here, and we'll be brave together. ❞ Something most people didn't know about Sama was the fact that she had absolutely nothing special about her. Sure, she enjoyed her time with her family and thought the world of Bollywood music from the 70's, but did that make her any different from the girls that passed her by on the street? Not really... at least, not until she fell for the rather charming Nathaniel. Falling for the boy with a voice that could make her burn and shiver all at once should've been a clichéd relationship from the start, but it wasn't. Every word he spoke felt real, and every promise he made was special. Whether or not he knew, he'd won her over no matter how she tried to resist, and resist she did. Maybe that was what made her stand out for the go-with-the-flow Nathaniel. In his eyes, she was more than the everyday fan-girl. Sure she made bubbly eyes at him and enjoyed his company just like all the others, but it was more than that. Sometimes, she was the most gullible person he knew. That sometimes, with all the chaos and pandemonium, she held the balance between his brutally imbalanced world and him. A difficult love with a story like no other will bring these two to believe that sometimes some things happened for a reason while other times, you have to fight for those details that matter.

''There is only one thing crossing my mind right now. If he hates me so much, then why the hell is he kissing me back?'' ----------------------- Emma White has always been kind of a loner. Her mother died giving birth to her and her father never really cared, always working in his successful company. That's why she decides to go to a college away from home, something she's been dreaming of since she can remember. However, what happens when at her very first day on campus, she crosses path with Noah Allen? He is rich, popular, cold, rude and a player just to start with. No surprise she calls him Mr. Grumpy. What is driving her insane though is that he's only too cold when it comes to her. After some not so pleasant moments and lots of glares, she tells herself that the best is to stay away from him, but it won't be that easy. After a disastrous kiss and hidden jealousy, she finds herself deeply involved into what is this frustrating boy. Add to that the fact that he is her roommates' childhood best friend and you can see drama from miles away. Noah claims to hate her ever since they met, and he doesn't mean her first day of college. He remembers her just fine from a couple of years ago and all the feelings are back. He knows she doesn't remember him and he'll use this as his leverage to do what he has to do. It's what he promised his father and himself, even if it means he has to pretend to care for her. All he cares is his family business. At least it's what he tells himself, until the feelings start getting too mixed and he ends up thinking of her more than he should. Maybe it's not all about business after all. He knows their history started before she even knows, what he didn't expect was for her to be so different from what he has always believed.

Katelyn has been in and out of the foster system since her mother died when she was young. After her father gets put in jail again, she gets sent to live with the Thomas family. The Thomas's are a very well-off family with four boys. Their house is usually the main hangout for the boys and their friends. Kate hasn't ever lived with siblings before, let alone this many boys, so it's a big change for her. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years. Bonus points for giving Daniel a love interest that was more than just a name.

"Please don't go." "I'm sorry." "I hate you." "Can we go somewhere?" "I forgive you." "Do you actually love me?" "I don't want to be here anymore." "I fucking love you." "I'm sorry." "Please stay." These were things said often between the two. They were so enthralled in each other. They couldn't get enough. Skin to skin wasn't close enough. Kissing constantly. Driving with hands gripping thighs. Hands tangled in hair. Nails clawing backs. Eyelashes brushing cheeks. Heads resting on chests. They wanted nothing more than to crawl into each other, and never come out. Say goodbye to the rest of the world and crawl away into their own. They loved each other so much that hand holding and neck kissing wasn't enough. Sex wasn't nearly as close as they'd like to be. They wrapped limbs through limbs and never wanted to let go. They couldn't stop. But minutes feel like hours spent apart. They spent hours in each other's arms. Listening to music, driving, singing, loving, living. They couldn't bare time apart. She was obsessed with him and he was in love with her. They romanticised each other. They wrote poetry and songs and lyrics and melodies about each other. He was hers and she was his. They belonged to each other. They smoked together and drank together and they couldn't stop. Maybe it was unhealthy. Maybe it was wrong. Maybe it was toxic, doomed to end badly. Maybe it'd kill them. (Maybe the drugs would.) Maybe they were being dangerous. Maybe this would be the death of them. But they didn't care. *smut warning in quite a few chapters lmaoo* published 2015

I stepped forward and asked, "Where do you want me?" It took me a second to realize what I just said. Shit! I placed a hand on my crimson face and muttered, "Get your head out of the gutter! You know what I meant." He laughed, his voice sounded hoarse and deep even when he's laughing. I peeked at him from the gap I made between my fingers. He was close. So close. He grabbed my hand and took me to the bed. Damn! It did sound sexy. His shirt was loose. Too large for me, and it hung on me like a cloth hung on a hanger. He sat on the bed, criss crossed and pulled me to him. ♡♡♡♡♡ The thing about love is... its unpredictable. Even when you don't want love, it just happens. Meet Violet Summers. She's the sarcastic girl who doesn't really ever get noticed by anyone. She blends into any crowd because of how "normal" she is. And she loves it. She wouldn't be able to stand the attention of everyone around her. That's why she won't tell Ryan Bloore, her crush for three years, that she practically worships the ground he walks on. Ryan is the captain of the basketball team at their school, so guys see him like he's a god and girls act like he walks on water. If they were to date, all eyes would be on her- she would be under everyone's scrutiny. So she's kept her feelings a secret, and she's done her best to suppress her emotions these past years, but she's realized that she's been so caught up in making people not notice her that she didn't realize how lonely she would be when no one was watching. Now meet Ryder Knight. School bad boy. Quarterback captain and heartthrob. The kind that wears a leather jacket and has tattoos all over his arms. The one who shows up to school riding a motorcycle. Just your average run of the mill "if you get involved with this guy, you will meet some serious trouble" kind of male. Well, too bad for Violet, she's stuck with him now. After all of the years of pushing away her feelings for Ryan because of her fear of being seen, she is now all anyone can look at- because of Ryder. Because of him, she can feel their stares, and she hates him for it. The longer they spend time together, the more Ryder starts to realize he actually enjoys being around her-despite her snarky comments about how much she despises him. And if Violet is being completely honest with herself, she's also starting to realize she might not actually hate the fact that people are noticing her now, but hate the way Ryder makes her feel.
