It was a new world as well as a new era. Humans were at the bottom of the food chain. There was a supernatural world out there that the humans hadn't known about it, until the war broke out two hundred years ago.
The King of vampires was now the ruler of all supernatural and humans were just slaves to be used as they pleased. The werewolves were the Kings soldiers and there loyalty was unbroken.
Witches were hunted into extinction they had fought bravely against the vampires and werewolves in the war to help the humans to survive, but they consequences for defending the humans was a heavy price to pay. They went into hiding leaving the humans to fend for themselves. Soon after the supernatural won the war.
