Don't Leave The Window Open

I slammed the door shut, I threw chairs and my brown bean bag against the door. Whatever I could find I just shoved up to block the door. I darted up stairs and locked my bedroom door- I then dropped to the floor huffing and puffing. Smash. Bang. That's when I heard a whisper almost a hiss, "don't leave the window open..."
