Emma Gonzales doesn't like to fly, but this Christmas she takes a plane (or two) from Toronto to Miami in order to attend her aunt's wedding. Realizing that travelling by herself gives her the independence and confidence that she needs, Emma enjoys the adventure until her second flight is delayed and she's forced to stay the night at an unfamiliar city. There she meets David and a few other things happen along the way. Maybe being stranded on Christmas isn't so bad.

One summer, her mom moves to Paris and wants her to fly down to visit her. On the plane ride there, she meets a super cute guy in first class. But then, things turn upside down...literally.
