Jack already has a looming depression that follows her everywhere but when her father, her younger brother, and herself move to France, she is enlightened with a new life. Dreams of a beautiful piano piece come to her through the night, every night, and in different forms. When she hears the artist and asks who he is, she is turned away immediately. Whilst struggling with this sadness that is a result of her mothers death, she finally gets the audacity to try to find the piano player. Finally beginning to know him, she is becoming more happy by day. She goes to see him in the forest every day and soon starts to fall in love with him. The only thing holding her back from him? He's dead. And soon, very soon, he'll have to go back where he came from. But what if she doesn't want him to go back? What if a trade is in order to save him? And what happens when a string of events leaves her broken and confused? Will she be able to get up and move on, or will her own body be killed in the process?
