Maddy Watson, has always been the responsible child, taking care of her two siblings Jonah and Riely. What can a 16 year old girl do. Taking care of an 8 year old and a 10 year old, after there parents shocking death, Maddy is left with two children on her own. While in school everything is normal, shes smart, gets good grades, and with her problems showing at school, only one teacher notices, that'd be her band teacher Mr. Vandalle, though he knows everything, and listens to everything Maddy says to her friends, he doesn't tell Maddy that he knows, but when Maddy's grandmother tries to take the kids away from Maddy. Maddy tries her hardest, her friends all try but nothing seemed to work, until on the court day Vandalle comes and lends a helping hand with the kids. He let Maddy and the two kids into his summer house, in Fort Bragg. He helps Maddy there, after two months, something happens, and was never supose to happen.
