Kirei Takeo, a 15 year old who has just started his first term for high school in Tokyo, lives not for himself- but for two. Within him lives classmate Kaede Nagisa, a girl who claims that her real body has been put into a coma without any knowledge about her predicament. As it turns out, she chose his body by chance as it was the closest to the crime scene- but he hasn't had the slightest bit of a recollection about an incident.
